Founded in 1991. Still independent.
CEC stands for Conveying Engineering & Consulting and for a clear stance: we advise and plan exclusively in the interest of our clients, with no ties to suppliers or manufacturers. What began in 1991 as a classic engineering firm is today a specialised company for bulk solids handling technology and mechanical process engineering, with an established network of partners.

History
1991
Founded as a classic engineering firm. Specialised from the outset in consulting and planning process engineering plants, independent of suppliers.
1994
Expansion of the service range to include the realisation and delivery of complete plants. Bulk material and conveying plants for almost every industry become the core business.
2008
Move to the Listbogen, a centrally located premises that is easy for customers to reach and gives employees room for creative development.
2009
Certified to ISO 9001:2008 for the planning, delivery and realisation of process engineering plants for bulk materials.
2015
CEC becomes a sponsoring partner of the SC DHfK Leipzig handball club for several years, supporting top-level sport in our home city.
2018
Symposium: "Ready for Plant Construction 4.0?" in the Gondwanaland event area (Leipzig Zoo Congress Centre) together with BEHR Ingenieure and GESA Automation
2021
30th company anniversary. To mark the occasion, CEC sponsors a tree in the city of Leipzig.
2026
35th company anniversary, change of management as of 1 July 2026 (successors are Hanjo Kloß, Christian Matschulla, Jörg Seibicke and Carsten Lippert).
